This guide covers account registration, login methods, profile management, and account settings.

Registration & Login

Supported Login Methods

Monitrun supports three ways to create an account or sign in:

Method	Description
Email + Code	Enter your email, receive a 6-digit verification code
Email + Password	Traditional email and password combination
Username + Password	Sign in with a username and password
Phone + SMS	Enter phone number, receive SMS verification code

Sign Up with Email (Verification Code)

1. Open the app and tap Sign In / Register
2. Select the Email method
3. Enter your email address
4. Tap Next
5. Enter the 6-digit code sent to your email
6. Tap Sign In / Register to complete

Note: If you are in mainland China, email login is not supported. Please use phone number verification.

Sign Up with Email + Password

1. Open the app and tap Sign In / Register
2. Select the Password method
3. Enter your username
4. Tap Next
5. Enter your password
6. Check the agreement checkbox (Privacy Policy & Terms of Service)
7. Tap Sign In

Sign Up with Phone Number

1. Open the app and tap Sign In / Register
2. Select the Phone method
3. Enter your phone number
4. Tap Next
5. Enter the SMS verification code
6. Tap Sign In / Register

Password Reset

1. On the login screen, tap Forgot Password?
2. Choose reset method (email or phone)
3. Enter the verification code
4. Set a new password
5. Tap Reset Password

Profile Management

View Profile

Navigate to Account tab to see:

• Your avatar
• Display name
• Personal signature

Edit Profile Information

1. Go to Account tab
2. Tap Account Information
3. You can edit the following fields:

Field	Description
Avatar	Upload or take a photo
Nickname	Your display name
Username	Unique identifier for login
Signature	Short bio (max 30 characters, 3 lines)
Gender	Male / Female / Other
City	Your location
Birthday	Date of birth
Contact	Emergency contact name
Contact Phone	Emergency contact number
QQ	QQ number
WeChat	WeChat ID

Edit Nickname

1. Go to Account → Account Information
2. Tap Nickname
3. Enter new nickname
4. Tap Save

Edit Signature

1. Go to Account → Account Information
2. Tap Signature
3. Enter your signature (max 30 characters)
4. Tap Save

Change Username

1. Go to Account → Account Information
2. Tap Username
3. Enter new username
4. Tap Save

Account Actions

Sign Out

1. Go to Account tab
2. Scroll down and tap App Settings
3. Tap Sign Out
4. Confirm the action

Delete Account

1. Go to Account → App Settings
2. Scroll down and tap Delete Account
3. Follow the confirmation steps

Warning: Account deletion is permanent. All your monitored websites, notification history, and personal data will be permanently removed.

View Data Collection Info

1. Go to Account → App Settings
2. Tap Data Collection Info
3. View what data the app collects and its purpose

Remote Settings

Monitrun syncs certain preferences across devices:

Setting	Description
Marketing Notices	Receive promotional messages
Expiration Reminders	Get notified before subscription expires
Security Alerts	Account security notifications

Configure these under Account → Account Information → Notification Settings.
