Notifications
Monitrun sends notifications to keep you informed about your websites' status. This guide covers viewing, managing, and understanding notifications.
Notification Types
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Website Down | A monitored website is unreachable |
| Website Up | A previously down website has recovered |
| SSL Expiration | An SSL certificate is approaching expiration |
| System Announcements | Service updates and important information |
Notifications Tab
List Overview
The Notifications tab shows all your alerts with:
- Notification title
- Timestamp
- Read/unread status (blue dot for unread)
- Swipe actions for quick management
Pull to Refresh
Pull down to refresh the notification list and fetch the latest alerts.
Managing Notifications
Mark as Read
- Tap a notification to open it (automatically marks as read)
- Swipe left and tap Read to mark without opening
Delete a Notification
- Swipe left on the notification
- Tap Delete
- Confirm the action
Mark All as Read
- Navigate to Notifications tab
- Use the "Mark All Read" option in the menu
Delete All
- Navigate to Notifications tab
- Use the "Delete All" option in the menu
- Confirm the action
Notification Detail
Opening a Detail
Tap any notification to see its full content:

Deep Linking
Notifications may contain deep links that navigate directly to:
- The related website detail page
- The notifications list
- Settings
Push Notification Setup
Initial Permission
When you first launch Monitrun, it asks for notification permission:
- A system dialog appears requesting notification access
- Tap Allow to receive monitoring alerts
Enabling Later
If you initially declined, enable notifications via:
iOS Settings → Notifications → Monitrun → Toggle Allow Notifications
Notification Settings
Configure in the iOS Settings app:

Push Device Management
View and manage devices registered for push notifications:
- Go to Account → App Settings → Push Management
Device List

| Registered At | When the device was registered |
Actions

| Delete Device | Remove a device so it no longer receives notifications |
| Re-register Push | Troubleshoot notification delivery issues |
Re-registering Push Notifications
If you're not receiving notifications but have permission enabled:
- Open Push Management
- Tap Re-register Push Notifications
- Wait for confirmation
Only re-register if you're experiencing notification delivery problems.
Unread Badge
The app icon shows a badge with the unread notification count. Opening the Notifications tab and reading notifications clears the badge.
